Sarong Love

Great excitement for me today, as the postman has just brought me a parcel containing the four gorgeous beach sarongs that I ordered the other day from our lovely friends Jo and Fleur, who own a Boutique/Lifestyle store Indigo in Javea . We see them twice a year as we love to visit them in their pretty finca just outside the town. Their store is right on the port in Javea and is a veritable Aladdin`s cave of clothes and home wares; hand painted ceramics, up cycled painted furniture, and artisan products from their travels around the world. Basically lots of things that you really didnt know that you needed, until you spied them! They are both very stylish and have a great eye, and I always come back from a visit full of ideas and inspiration.

At present , here in the heat in Maro and with not going out , I am spending all day wearing a beach sarong, so that, I think, gives me a good excuse to buy four more! Let`s face it, you can never have too many!

Indigo`s sarongs are made from a very lightweight, almost handkerchief type of cotton , so perfect for the hot sun and easy to pop in your beach bag. I am thrilled with these new ones.

So if you are heading to Javea in the future, do pop into the store, and also take a look at their inspiring account on Instagram They will also post their lovely things to the UK too.

  1. It has been an absolute pleasure to meet Sarah, and Andrew, her very talented artist husband! We love selling his vibrant artwork and have really enjoyed commissioning him to do some posters of Javea, where we are based. Thank you Sarah for your lovely words, we are so glad you are pleased with your sarongs!
